32 | Staff stated if there is one (1) teacher present, staff will take all the children to the bathroom at once to avoid children being left alone unsupervised. Staff 1 (S1) stated staff will ask the children if they want to be wiped and sometimes the child will be okay with it or the child will clean themselves. Staff 2 (S2) stated, children will be wiped cleaned and changed prior to leaving home, and staff will assist children in cleaning, but staff will only assist the child but have the child wipe him or herself.
It was alleged that; Staff are not adhering to the food menu, and Staff did not meet reporting requirements. Based on interviews conducted with two (2) out of 2 staff, both staff members stated food is being given to children from the food menu that the center posts. LPA confirmed with both staff that in July 2024, there were no children that were sick, however, a child may have a tummy ache, but not sick at the center.
Based on interviews, observation and evidence gathered during the course of the investigation, it is concluded that although the allegations noted on this complaint may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur.
