Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Samantha Yip and Ashley Lopez conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection. LPA met with Applicant Kamal Gill and Michael and explained the reason for the inspection. Applicant Rohan Gill arrived shortly after. The purpose of this inspection is Applicants are applying for an infant license for a capacity of 16 children. Applicant is also applying for an preschool license at the same location. A fire clearance was granted on 03/07/2023.

There is an area to post required postings, such as notification of parent's rights, personal rights, and car seat law.

The measurements for the indoor and outside were conducted during today's inspection. The measurements are as followed:

INDOOR MEASUREMENT:
Room 1: (22.667 x 21.333 = 483.555) minus encumbered space (7.167 x 1.8333 = 13.137) + (2.083 x 11.583 = 24.127) + (2 x 3 = 6) = 440.291
TOTAL INDOOR SPACE: 440.291 divided by 35 = 12 children

OUTDOOR MEASUREMENT:
(59.667 x 29 = 1730.343) minus encumbered space [2 (1.083 x 1.083)= 2.345] +( 3.917 x 10.750 = 42.107) + (3.917 x 10.667 = 41.782) + (4.417 x 4 = 17.668) + (5.917 x 9.333 = 55.223) = 1571.218
TOTAL OUTDOOR SPACE: 1571.218 divided by 75 = 20 children
