Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jennifer "Jen" Beehler conducted an unannounced Case Management - Licensee Initiated visit. LPA was provided access to the facility by the Director, Joy Yap.

Director had questions regarding lowering the age of the preschool enrollment. LPA stated the preschool age can be as low as 2 years old. Below 24 months is an infant and therefore regulations change. Director stated the program would like to lower the age and provided LPA with a LIC200A to change the program details with the Department.

LPA reminded the Director to correct parent and program handbooks to incorporate the age changes and any other procedures that need to be adjusted by lowering the enrollment age to 2 years old.

Director also asked questions about enrichment programs. LPA stated enrichment programs to enhance the client's experience are encouraged. However teacher, ratio and capacity limits must be maintained at all times. Coaches and Camp Directors were not a substituted for Qualified Preschool Teachers. Director stated she understood and would always ensure ratio and capacity requirements were maintained during all activities.

Due to today's inspection, no deficiencies were cited. Exit interview conducted with Director Joy Yap, report reviewed and provided. NOTICE OF SITE VISIT PROVIDED AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS.
