32 | OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
The Preschool Outdoor Play Area is 2,257.28 square ft. and will accommodate the Applicant's request for 30 children.
Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
The following items are required before a license will be issued:
1. Waiver for Infant Outdoor Play Area and Toddler Outdoor Play Area approval
2. Parent Handbook, Employee Handbook, Admission Agreement, Facility Sketch will need to be updated.
3. Adequate Lighting needs to be available in all classrooms.
4. Applicant needs to update menu
5. Applicant will need to clean the carpet in Classroom 4
6. Applicant will need to ensure that the gate for the napping area is at least 4 ft high.
7. Applicant will need to purchase thermometers, tweezers and antiseptic solutions for all first aid kits.
8. Post all required documents for the Licensing Board.
