The backyard is fenced and safe for children. The storage is used to store children toys and items. Cleaning products, sharp objects, and other items that are dangerous to children were stored inaccessible. LPA observed sufficient age-appropriate materials, toys, and play equipment in the facility. The children's bathroom is clean, sanitary, and operable. The home has a working telephone which is (831) 761-0636. Licensee provided her cell phone 831-588-8901. No bodies of water were observed.
LPA reviewed 7 children’s files during today's inspection for the following records: Notification of Parents Rights (LIC995A), Consent for Emergency Medical Treatment (LIC627), Identification and Emergency Information (LIC700), and Immunization Records (PM 286/CDPH 286). Infant under 1 year old has the Individual Infant Sleeping Plan LIC9227 in file. 15 minute sleep checks are being conducted and kept in a binder.
LPA reviewed both Maria and Jose Andrade's file. Licensee (Jose Andrade) Mandated Reporter Training expires on 12/10/2024. LPA reminded Licensee that Mandated Reporter Training must be renewed by all staff every 2 years. Licensees has immunization against Measles, Pertussis, and Influenza. Licensee (Jose Andrade) CPR & First Aid expires on 06/04/2023 and Maria's expires on 03/08/2025.
