25 | On May 28, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kayla Adkison arrived at the facility unannounced to conduct a 1-Year Required Annual Inspection. LPA met with Facility Administrator, Grace Puckett and was granted access to the facility.
LPA and Administrator toured the facility together to ensure health and safety of residents in care. Areas toured include but are not limited to: common areas, (3) three resident bedrooms, garage, backyard, storage areas, and (2) two common restrooms. LPA observed the facility to be clean, in good repair, and odor-free. In the areas toured no immediate health, safety, or personal rights violations were observed.
LPA observed all bedrooms to have the required furnishings, lights, and windows with screens. LPA observed the first aid kit to be completed and ready for use. LPA measured the water to be within the regulation range. Facility has a 2-day perishable and a 7-day non-perishable amount of food. The facility had a variety of food to offer the residents. The kitchen was clean and organized. LPA observed medications, chemical toxins, and knives to be locked and inaccessible to residents. LPA observed fire extinguishers to be fully charged and last inspected in July 2024. Facility is conducting fire drills monthly with the most recent completed in April 2025, Additionally, the facility is conducting disaster drills every (3) three months with the most recent being completed March 2025.
LPA reviewed a total of three (3) residents' files and four (4) staff files which contained all of the required documentation.
The facility is in compliance and no deficiencies are being cited as a result of today’s inspection. Exit interview conducted and copy of the report was provided to Administrator.
