25 | On 03/10/22 at 10:30 a.m., an annual required inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), N. Cunningham. At 11:00 a.m. the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and two assistants were supervising one infant and six preschool children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The second story of the home is off limits and has been made inaccessible by means of a gate. The off-limit areas of the home were made inaccessible by gates. The children use the side yard for outdoor play and it is completely fenced. There were no pools or other bodies of water observed in the yard.
Nine children's records were reviewed at 11:30 a.m., two staff records were reviewed at 11:45 a.m.
There are currently two adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
