On 07/23/25 at 8:24am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sydney Sims conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and met with Director Niki Bull . It was alleged that Staff member encouraged child to hit other day care child in care, specifically that staff encouraged child C1 to hit child C4.

LPA Sims interviewed Director Niki Bull on 04/18/25 at 9:11am. Director denied the allegation stating that facility staff have never encouraged a child to hit another child, and that staff only encourage children to use their words and not their hands.

Three children (C1 – C3) were interviewed on 5/21/25 and C1 – C3 had no knowledge of C1 being encourage or asked to hit child C4.

Two staff (S2 – S3) were interviewed on 5/21/25 and had no knowledge of the allegation occurring stating that S1 and S2 had not observed a staff member encourage C1 to hit child C4

Five parents (P1 – P5) were interviewed on 5/19/25 and P2 – P5 had no knowledge of the allegation stating that P2 – P5 had never observed a staff member encourage C1 to hit C4. P1 confirmed the allegation stating that C4 disclosed to P1 that a staff member encourage C1 to hit C4.

During today’s inspection, the facility was toured and LPA observed 23 children in care.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director Niki Bull appeal rights were provided.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
