25 | A prelicensing inspection was conducted today at 12:30pm by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Snow. LPA met with applicant/licensee/facility representative Joanna Lynch. The applicant/licensee is requesting a license for a capacity of 8. The facility will operate Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm + some overnight & weekend care. The residence is a 3 bedroom 2 bath single/two story home. There are 2 adults and 4 minors currently living in the home.
The home and yard were toured, and the facility sketch was verified. The following areas will be off limits to children: the upstairs. These areas have been made inaccessible by means of a gate. Poisons are locked in the key locked garage. The home is equipped with a working smoke detector and fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC. The fireplace is securely screened with and attached to the wall. The children will use the front deck (fenced and the front yard (unfenced) as the outdoor play area. The front yard is not completely fenced, therefore, the applicant understands that constant supervision must be provided while children are outside. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises.
LPA reviewed with applicant/licensee/facility representative the LIC 311D, Forms/Records To Keep In Your Family Child Care Home, children’s forms/records, facility forms/records, and information to be posted. |
