25 | A case management inspection was conducted today at 3:30pm by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), N. Cunningham. LPA met with Licensee Joanna Lynch. The licensee is requesting a license for a capacity of 14 children. The facility will continue to operates Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm + some overnight & weekend care. The Redding Fire Department approved the facility for a capacity of 14 on 12/7/22. The residence is a 3 bedroom 2 bath single/two story home. There are 2 adults and 3 minors currently living in the home.
The home and yard were toured, and the facility sketch was verified. The entire upstairs will be off limits to children. This area has been made inaccessible by a gate. Poisons are locked in the key locked garage. The home is equipped with a working smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC. The fireplace is securely screened with and attached to the wall. The children will use the front deck (fenced and the front yard (unfenced) as the outdoor play area. The front yard is not completely fenced, therefore, the applicant understands that constant supervision must be provided while children are outside. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises. |
