P1 stated, we used different diapers from the ones at home, school and at A1 and A2’s house, so I know C1’s diaper was not changed at school. In addition, P2 stated, When I pick up my child, if staff hear me ask my child if they need to use the restroom and their diaper needs to be changed, staff will change the diaper before our commute home that’s happened about three or four times over a 6 month period. P3-P5 had no problems or concerns on diaper changing. LPA obtained C1’s diapering log, nap time log and pick up time from 1/24/25. The documents obtain show on 1/24/25, staff checked C1’s diaper twice and documented the diaper was dry. C1 was awake for 15 minutes before being picked up by A2 at 12:00 pm. CD denied the allegation of staff hit day-care child and stated, current staff, I have never seen them being rough, miss handle a kid, nothing. S1 and S2 stated never seeing any staff handle children in a rough manner. S1 further stated, I never witnessed staff hitting a child. During C1's interview there was no indication C1 was injured at preschool. P1 disclosed that their child was hit by a teacher. A1 stated C1 did not specifically talk about anyone or anything they did at the preschool and A2 stated C1 never mentioned that anyone hurt them or anything at preschool. P2-P5 stated they have no concerns regarding the teacher’s while children are in care.
Based on the information gathered during this investigation, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the allegation occurred and therefore is determined to be unsubstantiated.
There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited.
