13 | On June 16, 2022 at 8:40 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) J. Helton conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and met with director Melissa McMillen. It was alleged that there was a lack of supervision resulting in inappropriate child behavior.
The director was interviewed on June 16, 2022 at 9:15 am and stated that 2 staff members were supervising 24 kids on the day in question. This is within staff ratio requirements.
Three staff (S2 – S4) were interviewed between June 16 and June 27, 2022. Staff stated that they do not believe there has been any lack of supervision.
Ten parents (P1-P10) were interviewed between June 24 and June 27, 2022, and eight of them stated they have not had concerns with lack of supervision with their children. Two parents stated there may be possible concern and that there seems to be a high turn over rate among the staff.
During the visit the facility was toured, copies of child roster and staff records were received and reviewed.
