25 | A change of location inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Cindy Castro. An application was received to the department on 06/17/25 for the change of location. The applicant, Fabiola Jimenez was previously licensed as a Large family childcare home, facility number 483010750. The applicant is currently requesting a license for a capacity of 14 children at her new location. Services will be available Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The licensee understands that 24hr consecutive care is prohibited. The residence is a 4 bedroom, 3-bathroom two level home. There are currently two adults living in the home. Applicant was reminded that all adults 18 and over living in the home, persons who provide care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
The floor plan was verified. The applicant has provided proof of Control of Property. The children will have access to living room, kitchen, bathroom in hallway downstairs and backyard. The off-limits areas of the home include the four bedrooms, two bathrooms and garage. The off-limit areas were made inaccessible by child safety gates and door latches. The children will use the backyard as the outdoor play area, and it is completely fenced. The home appears to be clean and orderly at this time and will remain so during childcare hours. There is a working telephone in the home. The sharp knives, cleaning supplies, medicines, will be stored out of the reach of children. Licensee stated that poisons are kept key locked in garage. First Aid supplies will be maintained at the facility. The children in care will have access to age-appropriate toys and equipment. The home is equipped with a working smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and a fire extinguisher rated at least 2-A 10:BC. There is no spa, pool, pond, or fountain on the premises. None shall be added without prior approval of the Licensing agency. Continue on LIC809-C
