Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Ouye met with the licensee/director to discuss options that the facility has with the impact of the universal transitional kindergarten has on their facility.

The facility has an infant, preschool and a school age license.

The facility serves children ages 12 mo through two years of age under their infant license.
It also serves children ages two years old through entry into first grade. They also have the license that allows for care of school age children.

LPA and licensee discussed that all preschool age rooms may be allowed to have children from two years old through entry into first grade, provided their program does not say otherwise. The facilities current preschool license capacity is 50 children.


No deficiencies cited during the visit.
