The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area. Fencing is made of chain link and is at least four feet high. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space is 4653.13 square fee, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. The preschool outdoor activity space measures a total of 3692.19 square feet. The toddler outdoor activity space measures a total of 960.94 square feet and is shared with the neighboring infant license. A playground waiver to share the playground at different times in the AM and PM due to limited square footage shall be submitted and approved prior to licensure between the toddlers and infants. Shade is provided via a permanent gazebo structure that covers portions of both outdoor yards. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. There are two climbing structures on the preschool playground, one for children ages 2-5 years which appears to be properly anchored and the other for ages 2-6 years which is plastic and movable. There is adequate cushioning in fall zones of climbers provided by wood chop cushioning under anchored structure and artificial tuff under the plastic structure. Drinking water is available via individual water bottles. LPA observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. D1 was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing.

For child care center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the licensee shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1- CCP). LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP.

No corrections are needed. A license for 28 children will be granted upon a final file review.

A notice of site visit was given to facility representative and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.

There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited during today's inspection.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with facility representative, Rosa Ruiz.
