32 | There is wood chip cushioning underneath climbing structures and/or play equipment to absorb falls. There were no bodies of water observed on site. L1 stated no weapons are stored on site, and none were observed.
During today's inspection, staffing ratios were being met, a total of 7 preschool children were being supervised by 5 staff, 2 teachers and 3 aides in the preschool classroom and 6 toddlers were supervised by 2 staff, 1 teacher and 1 aide in the toddler room. The facility was operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. At least one staff member present during the inspection possessed current CPR and First Aid certifications, which expire 11/05/23. Ten children’s records were reviewed and contained complete and current information as required. 3 teacher files were reviewed and contained all records as required. Interview conducted with L1 indicates that the facility does not have a qualified Director on site and has not had a Director since 07/19/22.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
The following violation of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22; Division 12, was observed: see LIC 809D. Appeal Rights were provided.
