The LPA observed a working smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher, rated at least 2A10BC, in the home. The licensee stated that the home's two fireplaces are barricaded and not used. The licensee stated that poisons are stored in a key locked shed in the backyard. Licensee states there are no firearms and ammunition stored on the premises. There are no bodies of water observed on the premises at the time of this inspection. The children use part of the home’s fully fenced and gated back yard as the outdoor play area. Five children's records were reviewed during today's inspection. The LPA reviewed infant 15 minute sleep check logs and safe sleep plans. Two staff files were reviewed during the inspection and contained the documents as specified on the inspection checklist.
