32 | Staff and one adult interviewed denied the allegation, stating that they have no information about children showing their private parts in connection with any type of game. They stated that they have observed children playing a symbolic game of family, reporting that it consists of children being mom or baby and the mom giving a baby a bottle, type of play or fighting over who wants to be the mom or the dad. One staff and one adult interviewed did report that a child was observed removing their pants while in the play yard, stating that it was an isolated event that did not involve other children, other than a few children observing it occur across the yard, when a teacher called out to the child. According to interviews with children, they either didn’t know what the family game was, or it was described as when you sit and watch the game with food, not at school.
Based on interviews conducted, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that an alleged violation occurred, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
