On 6/1/23 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joseph Pacheco and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Cynthia Brannon arrived at the facility to conduct an announced case management inspection. Licensee is requesting to use a temporary facility located at 1235 E. D Street Oakdale, CA 95361 for approximately three weeks while their regular facility is undergoing some renovations. LPA and LPM met with Director, Jewelee Lemus and toured the facility both indoors and outdoors. Facility is requesting a capacity of 6 infants and 8 toddler option children while using this temporary location. The inside classroom was not set up and ready to provide care for children so measurements were unable to be taken of the indoor activity spaces for the infants and toddler option children. LPA and LPM measured the outdoor activity space. The outdoor activity space measured to an approximate 910 square feet which will accommodate up to 12 children. Each component does not have its own exclusive outdoor activity area so a waiver will be needed for the infants and toddler option children to use the outdoor activity space at separate times. LPA and LPM discussed Title 22 regulations with Director and provided technical assistance. A return inspection will be needed to measure the indoor activity spaces for each component and review the final set up before a recommendation can be made to license this temporary location.

Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Jewelee Lemus.

This report shall be made available to the public upon request. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
