| On February 16, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yesenia Fierro conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection. LPA met with Director, Miriam Padilla. LPA Fierro toured the facility and took a census. The purpose of today’s inspection was to follow up with the facility regarding a lead exceedance referred to as an Action Level Exceedance (ALE) of over 5.5 parts per billion (ppb).
LPA conducted a tour of the facility inside and out and a census was taken.
Fresno North Regional Office had received notification of water lead exceedance at the facility resulting from a recent water lead sampling test. Based on records reviewed from Enthalpy Analytical and discussions with Director Miriam Padilla it has been determined that during the first round of testing outlets were in exceedance. Director removed/capped off outlets 503808887 U, 503808887 V, 503808945 G all other outlets were replaced and retested a second time. The following are the results of the second test.
503808887 U was observed to be an indoor water fountain located near the preschool kitchen, that was impacted with amount of lead 15.00 (ALE) of lead. Water fountain has been permanently removed.
503808887 V was observed to be an outside water fountain, that was impacted with amount of lead 9.70 (ALE) of lead. Water fountain has been permanently removed.
503808945 G was observed to be a (Boys) gym bathroom sink faucet, that was impacted with amount of lead 33.00 (ALE) of lead. Sink faucet was removed. (Sink has been capped off)
503808945 H was observed to be a (Boys) gym bathroom sink faucet. that was impacted with amount of lead 9.40(ALE) of lead. Retesting results are now NONE DETECTED (ND).
503808945 DD was observed to be a (Girls)vgym bathroom sink faucet, that was impacted with amount of lead 21.00 (ALE) of lead. Retesting results are now 3.2 (ALE)
