25 | On 10/29/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valentin Hernandez and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Cynthia Brannon met with Early Childhood Services Supervisor, Kristine Diaz. LPA conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA toured the facility, and a census was taken. During today’s inspection, LPA toured the facility, inside and outside, took a census and reviewed with supervisor and staff that classrooms 1 to 6 are licensed by Licensing. All children in these classrooms fall under Licensing jurisdiction and are to be incompliance with Title 22 regulations.
The purpose of today’s inspection is to proceed with Licensee’s request for an outside playground waiver. Licensee has submitted an outside playground schedule. Classrooms 7, 8, 9 and 10 are not licensed by Licensing. Each program will adhere to the schedule received to ensure commingling does not occur. No outdoor measurements were taken. Previous measurements were taken during prior inspection.
During today’s inspection, LPA reviewed Title 22 requirements to Early Childhood Services Supervisor, Kristine Diaz, regarding children in classrooms 1-6 are to have all required forms in their files. LPA reviewed that the square footage in all 6 classrooms is required to meet licensed capacity of 133 preschool children. If a classroom is utilized by a program that is not under Title 22, then licensee will be required to decrease their capacity, and send in an updated application with all required forms.
Per Title 22, Division 12 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
Exit interview conducted with Early Childhood Services Supervisor, Kristine Diaz. This report is to be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit to be posted for 30 day.
