On 11/08/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valerie Mireles conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to provide findings for the above allegations. LPA met with Site Supervisor, Brenda Sanchez. LPA explained the allegations, toured the facility, inside and outside and a census was taken.

During the course of the investigation, LPA reviewed facility records, took photos, interviewed complainant, Site Supervisor, day care staff, parents and children in care. This agency determined that the complaint is UNSUBSTANTIATED. During the investigation, LPA observed children in care to be treated respectfully and visitors were greeted in a friendly demeanor; however, based on inconsistent statements during interviews, the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED. Although these allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations.

Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency is cited during today’s visit. Exit interview conducted with the Site Supervisor, Brenda Sanchez. Appeal rights were provided and discussed. A Notice of Site Visit was given and will be posted for 30 days.
