 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Roman Iglesias, conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to provide findings for the above allegation. LPA Iglesias met with Licensee, Melissa Pershall. LPA reviewed the allegation with Ms. Pershall and took a census.
This agency has investigated the complaint alleging staff is retailiating against day care child's authorized representative for filing a complaint. During the course of the investigation LPA interviewed Ms. Pershall, Just Kid'n Around staff, and children's parents. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 (CCC), no deficiency is being cited.
An exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Melissa Pershall. A copy of this report and Appeal Rights were provided and discussed with Ms. Pershall.
A Notice of Site Inspection Form was posted on parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days.
