25 | A third announced pre-licensing inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli. Met with Spanish-speaking Applicant, Mariana Cendejas. Applicant, her husband and two minor children reside in the home.
The purpose of today's visit is to verify that the following correction requested was made. LPA observed the following corrections today:
- LPA observed a black rod iron fence barricading the in-ground swimming pool. The gate is self closing/self latching and swings away from the body of water. LPA observed that there are two stone retaining walls that elevate the rod iron fence on two separate areas. The fence in those two areas now have an black rod iron addition to the fence. LPA measured with a measuring tape from the retaining wall to the top of the added fence in both areas. Both areas are above five feet tall. The black rod iron fence that barricades the in-ground pool meets Title 22 Regulations.
The home meets the description of a safe and healthy environment for children as described in Chapter 3, Division 12, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and is adequate for a Small Family Day Care Home (SFDCH). Licensure as a Small Family Day Care Home capacity of 8 children will be recommended effective June 9, 2021.
* Planned hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. |
