25 | On 12/08/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valerie Mireles conducted an unannounced Annual Random Inspection and was met by licensee Mariana Cendejas. Days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 7:30AM-5:30PM.
This is a two-story home and stairs are gated when children under age 5 years old are present. LPA toured the home inside, outside and a census was taken. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that the daycare room, daycare bedroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, and bathroom are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of a child safety gate at the stairway and doorknob spinners in the downstairs rooms. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. LPA observed a mounted television, child-sized tables, chairs and furniture, cubbies, infant swing, and safe games, toys, and books for the children. There is one fireplace in the home located in the daycare room room and is barricaded by a shelf, making it inaccessible. The fireplace will not be in use during daycare hours. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
Licensee ensures that children in care are supervised at all times. The outdoor play area in the backyard is fenced and there are no hazards to children present. LPA observed a playhouse, play kitchen, hula hoops in the backyard for children to use while in care.
