All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of door knob spinners and/or child proof gates.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. However, there is a large, empty fountain with large drains. Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
There is a fireplace located in the living room which will not be in operation during daycare hours. Licensee stated the gas has been turned off. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
This is a two-story and stairs are gated when children under age 5 years old are present. Safe toys and play equipment are observed.
