LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. The purpose of today's inspection was to inspect the inaccessibility of the in-ground pool in the backyard.
LPA observed swimming pool is fenced per regulation. The pool gate is self-closing, self-latching with a key lockable device that is above 60 inches above the ground and opens away from the swimming pool. No windows or doors have direct access to the pool area. LPA observed a wrought iron fence, fence is 60 inches in height, there is a 2-inch clearance from the ground to the bottom of the enclosure and gaps that allow passage are 4 inches in diameter.
LPA observed a swimming pool alarm that meets ASTM International Standard F2208, a life ring 20 inches in diameter approved by the US Coast Guard and a rescue pool with a body hook 12 feet in length.
Per Licensee Llobana Chavez the backyard will remain inaccessible during daycare hours.
