25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jason Lund arrived unannounced to conduct one required annual inspection. LPA Lund met with Administrator Neil Clavano and explained the purpose of the visit. The facility is licensed to serve five non-ambulatory residents and one bedridden resident. It has a hospice waiver for two residents. Census: 5
LPA Lund & Administrator Neil Clavano toured/inspected the facility. The inspection including the common area, kitchen, dining area, resident bedrooms, laundry room, garage, storage areas, and back yard to ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations. The kitchen had storage areas, counter surfaces, and appliances. The area was clean, odor-free and operable. The facility had two-day supply of perishable food and seven-day supply of non-perishable food. Sharp objects and toxic chemicals are stored in locked. The central medication storage area, which is located in the kitchen. Medication was stored separately from other items in a locked cabinet. LPA Lund reviewed two residents’ medications and compared it with the Medication Administration Records and was in compliance. The first aid kit contained all required items. The inspection progressed to the living room, dining room, hallways, bathrooms and bedrooms. These areas have adequate furnishing, lamps, and lighting. Each resident has a bed, bedside table, chair, and a dresser. The bathrooms had grab bars are present and sturdy, and non-slip mats were observed. The fire extinguisher was in the kitchen and serviced 02/04/2025. Carbon monoxide detector was in compliance. Inspection of the outdoor area was in compliance at this time. A review of three residents files and two staff files were in compliance.
There were no deficiencies observed during today’s visit. Exit interview was held, and a copy of the report left.
