25 | On 5/25/23 at 10:15 AM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Pearl DiGenova. The LPA met with facility representative Anna Marx. This program is operated by Head Start. The facility operates 7:30-4:30, Monday–Friday. The facility was toured at 11:20 AM inside and outside. Playground is cushioned with bark.
Three teachers were supervising 19 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises.
5 children's records were reviewed at 10:25 AM. 2 staff records were reviewed at 10:43 AM.
Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records.
