On 5/18/22, at 8:15 am, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Wisehart. This is an EHS infant license with a toddler component (8 infants, 8 toddlers). The program is on the same site as Little Hoppers and Corning Head Start preschools. Operating hours are 7:30 am-4:30pm, Mon-Friday, though they are closed every other Friday. The facility is closed in the summer. The facility was toured at 8:30 am inside and outside and the floor and yard plan submitted by the licensee were verified. The facility submitted a new floor plan for the infant outdoor play area located in a fully fenced grassy area in front of the building. The LPA measured the space during visit and it measured for 15 infants and is approved for use, the toddler play area is in a separately fenced area. Facility operates in stand alone building.

The Site Supervisor was present with 6 staff supervising 10 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises.

10 children's records were reviewed at 10 am . 7 staff records were reviewed at 9:15 am.

Site Supervisor was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
