On 5/22/23 at 10:55 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Pearl DiGenova and Erica Laird conducted an unannounced complaint inspection, and met with licensee Jazmine Harrison. It was alleged that the licensee does not keep the home clean & sanitary and that the licensee is not in the home a sufficient amount of time.
The licensee was interviewed on 5/3/23 at 2:50 PM and stated that she cleans up the daycare area twice a day and does a deep clean on the weekends and that she does leave the home but only for up to two hours a day on occasion. One witness was interviewed on 5/8/23 at 3:10 PM and stated that the home was messy but not unsanitary and that the licensee does occasionally leave the home for several hours but only on approximately 7-8 occasions. 3 children were interviewed on 5/3/23 at 3:00 PM and corroborated that the licensee is home most of the time and that they regularly participate in clean up. 5 parents were interviewed and 4 out of 5 reported that the home is not dirty and that the licensee is present the majority of the time during pick up and drop off. During today’s visit facility was toured. LPA observed the daycare area to be free of unsanitary conditions.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Jazmine Harrison.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
