25 | On 12/17/2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Claribel Soto and Jose Ruiz conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection. LPAs met with Licensee, Rosa Gasca. LPAs toured the facility and took a census. The purpose of today's visit was to inspect the new daycare room that was built in the new home adjacent to current facility. Daycare room has a bathroom. LPA received fire clearance.
Licensee stated construction will still be occurring to complete the rest of the home. Licensee stated construction only occurs on the weekends when children are not present. Licensee will make main house inaccessible by door locks and will keep visual supervision of children in care at all times.
Children will be entering new daycare room through the front entrance of the house. Construction material will need to be made inaccessible that is outside near the front entrance prior to final approval of use of daycare. Licensee stated they will make the construction material and tools inaccessible by adding a fence. Licensee will submit photo to LPA Soto of fence making construction material and tools inaccessible to children.
LPA collected copies of the updated facility sketch, permits.
Per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiency was cited during today's visit. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Rosa Gasca.
This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
