32 | There were no bodies of water, firearms and/or ammunition on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Playground equipment was in safe condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space was maintained in a safe condition and was free of hazards. During todays inspection LPA observed for the playground area to not have sufficient shade due to the recent tree removal. LPA contacted the main office and 3 canopies were brought to the facility and LPA assisted with the assembly and positioning of the new shade. LPA also observed the new bicycle play area that was recently completed, but due to the area not having shade covering installed, LPA was unable to approve the area until the installation of the shade coverings. LPA advised staff that upon install of the shade installation the children would be able to utilize the bicycle trail.
A sample of children's files were reviewed and contained contact information for authorized representative and/or relatives or others who can assume responsibility for the child and medical assessment.
