25 | On 6/13/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee and her minor child. Licensee and one minor child reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through American Red Cross and expires on 3/14/25. Licensee’s Assistant, Adrian Gomez completed the training through American Red Cross and expires on 10/1/24. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 4/30/24.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 4/30/24. Fire pull alarm is located on the converted garage/ day care room on the wall.
- This is a single story, three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms home with a modified converted garage (day-care room), that has a large room, a kitchen with a sink, a stove with oven, a microwave and a refrigerator and one half bathroom. There is central air heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort. Licensee provided Community Care Licensing Department with City of Lindsay Building Department inspection card Permit#103895 for the converted garage room. Day care children will only have access to the converted garage day care room including half bathroom. The entrance to the day care room will be through the left side run of the home.
