25 | Prior to today's inspection, LPA telephoned call applicant and conducted the COVID-19 Emergency Response Tele-Inspection Screening Process. On May 27, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Applicant, Lydia Garcia for a pre-licensing/change of location inspection. Applicant and her minor child reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption. Fire clearance was granted on May 26, 2022.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on May 25, 2022. Fire alarm is located on the wall in the living room #1 (day care room).
- This is a two story, four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms home and upstairs area will be off-limits to the day-care children. There is a door with plastic door knob cover at the bottom making upstairs area inaccessible. Care and supervision will be provided in living room #1 (day care room), living room #2 (day care room), downstairs bedroom #1 (napping room), dining room, kitchen, den (office). and wash room (diaper changing room).
- There is a fireplace in the living room #1 that applicant states it will not be used during day-care hours.
- LPA observed in living room #1, children size furniture, safe toys, books, a flat screen television mounted onto the wall and a parents board. LPA observed in living room #2, five play yards. LPA observed bedroom #1, four cribs. Children will nap in living room #1 and #2 on cots. Infants will nap in play yards. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times.
