25 | On 06/05/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Denisia Jimenez conducted an unannounced case management inspection due to licensee wanting to switch rooms for the day care children, currently licensee has main home approved for care and now is wanting to replace main home with the extension added new room. LPA was met by Licensee, Maria Ibarra (Spanish Speaking). The purpose of today's inspection is to approve the extension added room made at the residence.
LPA observed kitchen cabinets, sink, a refrigerator, cots, cribs, and a restroom. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. LPA observed a side door that the licensee stated will be used for child care entrance. Licensee stated she has been waiting for LPA to give her the approval so she can start moving the age-appropriate toys, cubbies, children’s furniture, and children’s tables to the new room. LPA observed the items in the living room. The extension added new room is approved for day care use. Licensee stated day children will not have access to the main home. Licensee submitted a new sketch for the accessible areas in her home and proper documentation for the added new room.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiencies cited during today's visit.
Exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Maria Ibarra.
A Notice of Site Visit form (LIC 9213) and a copy of the today’s report was left.
This report shall be made available to the public upon request.
