25 | On 6/27/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Applicant, Maritsa Molina for a pre-licensing inspection. Applicant, her husband, and four minor children reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption. Fire clearance was granted on 5/23/24.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on 5/31/24. Fire pull alarm is located in the home’s hallway.
- This is a single story, three bedrooms and two bathrooms home and children will have access to the living room (day care room), dining room, kitchen, bedroom #1 (play room), and hallway bathroom. Off-limits rooms/ closets are made inaccessible by use of plastic door knob covers.
- There is central air heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort.
- LPA observed in the day care room, child size table and chairs, safe toys, and books for the children. Also observed a sectional sofa and a flat screen television mounted onto the wall. LPA observed in the play room, safe toys, books, a 25 inch television on top of a bookshelf, child size table and chairs, and educational posters on the wall. LPA also observed bunk bed that applicant states children will not have access to the top bunk. Applicant states she or her assistant will have 100% visual supervision when children are playing in the play room. Children will nap in the living room on mats. Applicant states she will not be providing care for infants, only children ages 2-17 years old. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times. LPA provided applicant with Individual Sleeping Plan and Safe Sleep handout.
