25 | On 7/10/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Applicant, Griselda Reynoso for a pre-licensing inspection. Applicant, her husband, and her adult daughter reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- This is a two story, four bedrooms and four bathrooms home and upstairs area will be off-limits to the day-care children. Off-limits rooms/ closets are made inaccessible by use of child proof door knob covers and there is a gate at the bottom of the stairs making upstairs area inaccessible. Care and supervision will be provided in living room #1, living room #2 (day care room), downstairs bedroom #1, dining room, kitchen, downstairs bathroom and backyard bathroom.
- There is an electrical fireplace in the living room that applicant states will or will not be used during day-care hours. There is central air heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort.
- LPA observed in the day care room, child size table and chairs, safe toys, and books for the children. There are two high chairs and a flat screen television mounted onto living room #1 wall. Children will nap in living room #1 on cots. Infants will nap in play yards. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times. LPA provided applicant with Individual Sleeping Plan and Safe Sleep handout.
