25 | On 1/16/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Applicant, Lovely Jackson for a pre-licensing/ change of location inspection. Applicant and her minor child reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 12/13/2024.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on 12/19/2024. Fire pull alarm is located on the home’s entry way on the right wall of the home’s entry way.
- This is a single story, three bedrooms and two bathrooms home and children will have access to the living room, bedroom #2 (play room), dining room (day care room), and hallway bathroom. Off-limits rooms/ closets are made inaccessible by use of child proof door knob covers and child proof safety gates.
- There is central air heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort.
- LPA observed in the day care room, dining room, safe toys, educational posters a high chair for the children. LPA observed in the play room, safe toys, books and a flat screen television mounted onto the wall. Children will nap in living room and day play room on cots. Infants will nap in a crib or play yards. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times. LPA provided applicant with Individual Sleeping Plan and Safe Sleep handout.
- Facility has a 2A10BC fire extinguisher mounted onto the entry way wall. There is a functioning smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and first aid kit in place.
