On March 8, 2023 at 1:15 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Susana Martinez conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection. LPA met with director Jennifer Brewer and advised the purpose of the inspection. Director provided LPA a tour of the facility inside and out. There were 58 children in care at the time of the inspection and 13 adults.

LPA observed required licensing documents mounted on the walls throughout the facility. Last fire drill was conducted on 2/17/23 . Each of the classrooms have age-appropriate toys and furniture readily accessible for children in care. LPA observed enough restrooms available for children to use. LPA did not observe any hazards/toxins items accessible to children. First Aid kits were observed throughout the facility.

The outdoor playground is shaded and has an ample amount of space for children to play. LPA observed the playground has age-appropriate toys and structures available for children to use.

A sampling of 5 children and 5 staff records were reviewed. LPA observed 1 out of 5 children's files to be missing immunization's and admission agreement. LPA asked director about missing documents, director states she can get a copy in the file today. LPA observed staff files to be complete and current with an expiration date of 7/2023. Four out of five staff mandated reporter certifications are all current.
