Staff do not intervene when daycare children are being bullied by another children

On 10/1/25, at 10:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cynthia Alvarez conducted an unannounced inspection at the abovementioned facility to deliver the findings for a Complaint related to alleged violations of Personal Right and Operations of the CCC. LPA met with Director Daksha Patel and advised the purpose of the inspection. LPA observed 34 children on site along with 6 staff providing care and supervision.
The investigation included observations, record reviews, interviews and 3 unannounced site inspections. As noted above, the specific allegations of the Complaint are that a Staff do not intervene when daycare children are being bullied by another children.
LPA was unable to corroborate or validate the allegations of the Complaint. Contrary to the Complaint, staff interviewed did not indicate any bullying from the children to other children. Staff interviewed stated that any time a child is being unkind to another child, staff intervene to ensure children are not being bullied Also, parent interviewed did not report any instance in which they felt like their child was being allowed to be bullied.

A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) and Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) are provided to Director. The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days or a civil penalty of $100.00 may apply.
