13 | On 3/22/22 at 3:05 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Michael Mathew and Dean Thompson conducted an unannounced inspection to conclude a complaint investigation. LPAs met with facility Director and advised her the purpose of the inspection. Director provided LPAs a tour of the facility inside and out. There were 10 children in care at the time of the inspection.
Allegation(s) stated the childcare has fleas and Children are commingled with preschool program. LPA conducted two unannounced inspection touring the facility inside and out. During the course of the investigation, LPA reviewed children files. LPA observed during initial inspection that there were 2 dogs present and were staying in the office in a cage just behind the director’s desk away from children in care. LPA also observed that children were staying in their respective programs of the facility, no commingling was observed during both inspections. LPA conducted interviews with staff, Parents, and children. Staff that were interviewed indicated they have not experienced fleas at the center, or flea bites on staff or the children. One staff member that was interviewed stated that there is commingling that happened early in the morning around 6:30am. |
