On 10/17/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Diaz conducted an unannounced Required-3 Year inspection. LPA met with lead teacher Maria Ramirez and advised them of the purpose of the inspection. Lead teacher provided LPA a tour of the facility inside and out. There were 8 children in care at the time of the aftercare program started along with 2 staff. Center operates M-F 1:00AM-5:00PM. LPA observed TK program not under licensing being conducted in the licensed classroom. Lead teacher stated the TK program is from 8:00am-12:00pm. Director Lorena Ramos showed up at about 1:00pm during the inspection process. LPA informed Director that a wavier will be need for classroom sharing with the unlicensed program TK.

LPA observed required licensing documents mounted on the walls throughout the facility. Last fire/disaster drill was conducted on 10/17/24 lead teacher stated they do drills monthly. The classroom have age-appropriate toys and furniture readily accessible for children in care. LPA observed enough restrooms available for children to use however they do share restroom with school aged children. Director stated they do not commingle with the older children and when the facility was licensed it was licensed that way. LPA did not observe any hazards/toxins items accessible to children. First Aid kits were observed in the classroom. Currently the facility uses an App called Learning Genie as a form of communication with parents. Facility provides afternoon snack.

LPA observed the outdoor play space has age-appropriate toys and structures available for children to use.

A sampling of children and staff records were reviewed. LPA observed children's files to be complete and current. Staff mandated reporter certification are all current. LPA verified SB792 Child Care Adult Immunization and Tuberculosis requirements.

Lead teacher was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Lead teacher Maria Ramirez.
No deficiencies were cited.
