On January 22, 2025 at 10:30 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Carone conducted an unannounced inspection to conclude investigation for the above allegation. LPA met with Director, Mary Gossett and explained the purpose of the visit. LPA conducted a tour of the facility inside and outside with Director. LPA observed a total of 22 children under the care and supervision of 4 staff.

LPA interviewed staff and parents with the finding of staff that are no longer employed at the center stating that that they smelled and saw a rodent in classroom #1. Current staff reported not being aware of any rodents. Parents interviewed were happy with the care and supervision their child receives at the center. LPA conducted visits on10/23/2024 and today without observing allegation. Director provided LPA an invoice for Eric's Tree and Landscape Pest Services for a service call on 10/26/24. The report states that, "no additional rodent activity has been observed at the property." The center rents the property from the church that is on the same property. The center took appropriate measures to ensure rodents were not in the center. Although

Notice of Site Visit (LIC9058) was provided. The notice shall be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a $100.00 civil penalty. NO citations issued. Appeal rights LIC9058 provided.

Exit interview conducted with Director, Mary Gossett. The report was reviewed and a copy was given.
