On March 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Carone made an unannounced visit to conduct a Case Management-Other Inspection. LPA met with Director Marlene Ybarra and Assistant Director Zenaida Hernandez-Garcia and explained the purpose of the inspection. LPA, Director and Assistant Director toured the interior and exterior of the center. There were 5 staff caring for 17 children at the time of the inspection.

LPA conducted staff file reviews to verify all Licensing forms are up to date. LPA found the files to be complete with all the required forms and certificates. LPA found S1 had completed CPR/First Aid via an online course. LPA informed Director that all CPR/First Aid courses are to be taken in person for staff. S2's CPR/First certificate expired 03/17/2025. S3's CPR/First Aid certificate expires 03/25/2025. Center is in compliance with S3 having a staff member in the infant classroom that has a valid CPR'First Aid certificate.

During record review, LPA found that S1's Mandated Reporter Training certificate is missing part 2. Director stated that she will have staff complete part 2 of the Mandated Reporter Training by 03/26/2025. Staff is having a staff training day that date.

A technical violation was issued. Notice of Site visit was provided and must remain posted for the next 30 days.


Exit interview and review of report was conducted with Director Marlene Ybarra and Assistant Director Zenaida Hernandez-Garcia.
