32 | Facility provides two (2) snacks daily for children in care. Children will bring their own lunch from home. LPA observed one (1) refrigerator in Starfish room, locked and functioning at the time of the inspection. LPA observed the kitchen to be clean, in good working order and free of pests. LPA advised applicant menus shall be in writing and posted in a prominent location at least one week in advance.
Outdoor area consists of one (1) parking lot with permitter fencing, limited shade, and one (1) basketball hoop. LPA advised applicant is to provide ample shade, uncontaminated water readily available for use, equipment, and fixtures with soft padding and/or surfaces. Applicant states preschool will share yard with school age children, LPA advised of regulation.
LPA reviewed with applicant the LIC 311A, Records to Be Maintained At The Facility, for child’s records, personnel records, administrative records, and documents to be posted. LPA discussed information capacity, and ratios. Director was made aware that it is the facility's responsibility to know the current regulations for a facility which can be accessed on-line at www.cdss.ca.gov.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02-CCP. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department.
