25 | On 07/18/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Diaz conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection of the Family Child Care Home (FCCH) for a change of capacity. LPA met with Licensee Bianca Villa and explained the purpose of the inspection. LPA notes there are four 4 children present during this inspection.
During this inspection, LPA and Licensee toured the and interior and exterior of the FCCH. LPA observed the FCCH's interior and exterior to be free of hazardous materials and/or toxins at the time of the visit. LPA observed cleaning compounds in a locked cabinet and garage. Sharps are stored in an elevated cabinet and top of the refrigerator in the kitchen. LPA notes all areas are inaccessible to children by means of gates or door safety knobs.
LPA notes, Licensee’s First Aid/ CPR certification which was completed on 05/09/2023 and Mandated Reporter training certificate was taken on 05/07/2023. LPA observed 2 regulation fire extinguisher which was serviced by Fillmore Fire Department on 06/25/2024. Detectors was tested and working.
The Licensee submitted documentation for a FCCH change of capacity. The Licensee is seeking to change the FCCH’s capacity from 8 (Small FCCH) to 14 (Large FCCH). The Fillmore Fire Department granted a fire clearance following an inspection completed at FCCH on 06/27/2024.
Applicant owns the home and submit mortgage statement. Because the applicant, owns the home, no proof of landlord notification is required.
