Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Salene Mayberry met with Program Lead Itzel Ramirez to deliver findings of the complaint investigation regarding the above allegation.

It was alleged that staff did not prevent Child #2 from inappropriately touching Child #1 on multiple occasions in Spring 2022. During the investigation, LPA observed staff interactions with children in care, conducted interviews, obtained relevant documentation, and reviewed facility records.

The Complainant stated that staff should have been aware of prior incidents and taken measures to prevent an incident of Child #2 inappropriately touching Child #1 on May 25, 2022. According to the Complainant, there had been two previous incidents between the same two children in the weeks preceding May 25, 2022.
