32 | It was also alleged that staff did not ensure that day care child was properly fed. Interview with AD and staff revealed that children were offered all bottles and foods brought from home throughout the day. The staff would send home the unfinished food or bottle and documented them on the daily report. None of the parents interviewed had any concern that their child was not properly fed. Moreover, during the Licensing Inspection, LPA observed staff feeding children bottle or solid food and had them documented on the daily report.
It was also alleged that staff did not meet day care child's diapering needs. Interview with AD and staff revealed that the diapers were checked every 2 hours unless soiled in between. It also revealed that staff would document all diaper change on the daily report. None of the parents interviewed had any concern nor experience regarding their children’s diaper were not properly changed. Moreover, during the visit, LPA observed staff changing diapers and the documentation on the daily report.
Based on the information obtained throughout the course of this investigation the above allegations, LPA Tjhia determined that the allegations were found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.
Exit interview was conducted. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. |
