13 | On 3/28/22 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Aruna Sridharan and Erwin Tjhia met with licensee Susan Kandela to deliver the findings of the complaint investigation regarding the above allegations. There were five allegations made against the facility. One allegation has already been concluded.
During the investigation, LPAs conducted interviews and obtained documents pertaining to allegations. The first allegation that the licensee is not at the facility for an adequate time. The interviews and observations did not corroborate with the allegation and hence the allegation is unsubstantiated. The second allegation was about licensee operating out of capacity. Inconsistent statements were received form the reporting party and individuals interviewed. The third and fourth allegations were about not meeting diapering needs and not ensuring safe and healthful environment for daycare children. The interviews and observations did not corroborate with these two allegations and hence the allegations are unsubstantiated.
An unsubstantiated allegation means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.
An exit interview was conducted, and a Notice of Site Visit and appeal rights were provided to facility representative. |
